Smell Ya Later

About off to St. Louis this weekend for le wedding. I wish I could have been in town last week for Game 5, but I'm sure the town is still in good spirits over their World Champions.

In other baseball-related news, we won our first softball game last night, finishing 1-9 for the fall league. Combine the eight games I played with the 15 from summer league, and that makes my softball total for 2006 a whopping 1-22. Whoo. And yet, I'll miss it. What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment.

We'll talk when we get back, yes? I promise no prescription drug abuse this weekend, but still lots of fun, drunken tomfoolery. Oh yes. While you wait impatiently for my return this weekend, here's a song that's been in my head for the last few days. "She's a Woman" by The Beatles. I heard it on the radio on the way to work Wednesday, and I can't stop singing it. In fact, I just watched it after posting it here. ENJOY IT!

Boo and yah, fooligans. Have a great weekend.

You will cross paths with one M. Hopkins while you're there. She's so excited to see you...I told her you were going to be there and she flipped out.

Paths were crossed. Beers were imbibbed. Dances were danced. And of course, good times were had. BY ALL!

It was very cool to see Melissa and catch up with her, but only half as cool as it COULD have been, if you know what I mean. Just sayin.

And I'm sorry our paths didn't cross, Miss Katy. It would have been too hectic to try to make it down there. I know...excuses, excuses. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?
